What the Product review costs and how it works

The Product review is a paid long-form review written from your public website, published on its own page, and never counted in votes or rankings.

Updated

What you get

The Product review ($19) is a substantial write-up of your product. It lives at /launch/<listing>/product-review, its own dedicated page on this site. You commission it—you pay for it—but you cannot alter the finished piece.

How we write it

Once you've paid, we study your public website afresh: your home page and any pages on about, pricing, features, FAQ or docs that exist. We draw only from these sources and your listing. Nothing is made up. Where your pages are silent on something people need to know, the review says plainly that the information isn't there. It's honest writing, so it covers both strengths and limits.

The review is structured: key takeaways, several sections, a pros and cons breakdown, who it suits, a check of what your pages claim on six points (what it does, who it's for, pricing, getting started, trust and security, company and contact details), likely questions, a verdict and a note of which pages were used. There is no star rating.

Where it appears

Your listing shows a short passage from the review in a marked block ('Product review', 'Commissioned by the maker'), with a link to the full piece. The listing's reviews page shows its summary and key takeaways. It always sits separate from community reviews.

What never shifts

The Product review is never tallied in votes, ratings or rankings. It adds no vote. Rankings here come from votes alone, and on the billboard, from money contributed—never from reviews.

If your site goes down

If your website cannot be read (down, or blocking visitors), we retry several times. If it's still unreadable, the review is held for our team to look at instead of being published thin; if they write it from your listing alone, the review will say so.

Every Product review published on Veyza Launch is also listed on one page, /reviews ("product reviews" in the footer once there is one).

Questions people ask

Can I edit the Product review after it's published?
No. You cannot change it once it's live. We write it from your public website and your listing only.
Does the review affect my ranking or votes?
No. It is never counted in rankings or vote tallies. Rankings here come from visitor votes (and, on the billboard, money contributed).
Where do I order one?
When you choose a paid launch, add it on the plan step. For an existing listing, sign in, go to /account/listings, select 'Upgrades and extras' for that listing and choose 'Order the Product review'. The price is shown on /pricing.
