how do i claim and verify my company listing
Take ownership of your listing by proving you control your company's domain. You'll become the owner and get the Verified badge.

start a claim
Find your listing and select "Claim", or go directly to /claim/<listing>. You'll be asked to prove you control the company's domain.
verify your domain
Choose one of these methods:
- email: we send a secret link to an address at your company's domain. Check your inbox and click through.
- DNS TXT record: add a record to the root domain. We check for it when you submit.
- meta tag: add a tag to your homepage's HTML. We look for it during verification.
- verification file: upload a small file to your website. We'll request it to confirm.
Verification codes expire after 14 days. If yours has expired, start the claim again.
what claiming gives you
Once verified, you become the listing owner. You can edit the listing details, add images, and update information. You'll see the Verified badge next to your listing.
The badge signals that you control the domain. It cannot be bought or transferred, and remains separate from any paid placement or votes you may receive.
Questions people ask
- Can I verify without owning the domain?
- No. Verification proves you control the company's domain by email, DNS, meta tag or file upload. The badge only appears after successful verification.
- What if my verification code expires?
- Codes last 14 days. If yours expires before you complete verification, return to the listing and start a new claim.
- Does verification affect my placement or voting?
- No. The Verified badge is separate from votes and paid placement. It only shows that you control the domain.
