How it started
At zinndigital.com, Neil Lock is building the platform of his company, Zinn Digital®. As a child, Neil learned technology on the family farm's computer systems, the Commodore 64 and the ZX Spectrum; at about twenty it became his profession. He has spent more than 25 years building software, search and hosting, and Zinn Digital® is where his work in hosting, search and AI comes together in a single product.
The idea
Zinn Digital® brings hosting and SEO into one AI-first platform. Everything is managed from a single dashboard in the customer's own language and currency; the platform itself is published in 58 languages.
What he is building
The hosting comes in two forms: Footprint-Free Hosting for SEOs and Mainstream Hosting for managed WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, static and Node sites. Zinn Digital® is the operator, not a reseller: it builds, tunes and owns the infrastructure end to end. Every site is isolated in its own kernel-level cage under a proactive firewall and malware scanning. Pages are served through a LiteSpeed full-page cache, a Redis object cache per site and the CDN edge, which smart auto-purge keeps in step. Neil built the 24/7 AI support agent, and it has real functions. Developers get a spec-first API, generated SDKs, a CLI, a Terraform provider, signed webhooks and an MCP server. Agencies can resell the hosting under their own brand.
