how to join the billboard leaderboard
The billboard ranks listings by owner contributions in US dollars. It sits apart from community votes and other rankings.

a separate ranking
The billboard is its own leaderboard at /leaderboards/billboard. It ranks listings by the money their owners have put in, and the page is clear about that: it is labelled as a paid ranking. this sits alongside other leaderboards, but it does not touch community votes, launch of the week, or verification.
how contributions work
You choose how much to add in US dollars. The minimum is $5. Each new contribution stacks on top of what the listing already has, and the board orders by the total. Once you have contributed, the listing stays on the board.
Promo codes do not reduce what you contribute.
how to join
To add it from your account, your listing must be live. Sign in and go to /account/listings. Find the listing, choose 'Upgrades and extras' and enter your contribution under Billboard. it is also offered on the plan step when you submit.
kept apart
the billboard never buys a vote and changes no other ranking. community votes, verification and Domain Rating are separate, and each is labelled.
Linked to your website for life
The full board at /leaderboards/billboard shows every contributor, and each company name is a followed link (no nofollow) to that company's website. It is kept for life and is not tied to your position. It is removed only when a listing is taken down for breaking our rules, or when the contribution is refunded.

- no. the billboard and community votes are separate systems. each is labelled on its own page. contributing money does not buy votes.
- what is the minimum contribution?

- can i add more money later?
- yes. each new contribution adds to your total, and the board re-ranks by the new amount.
- Does my billboard contribution include a link to my site?
- Yes. The link to your website is followed and lasts for life, unless the listing is taken down for breaking our rules or the contribution is refunded.
